National Professional Speakers Association Appoints New President

The Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa (PSASA) is proud to announce Francois Muscat as the president of the association. PSASA is the primary body for and home of professional speakers, trainers, facilitators, coaches, consultants, adult educators and keynote speakers in Southern Africa.

Francois Muscat, a well-known digital marketer in the industry, joined the PSASA seven years ago with the goal of promoting his internet marketing business, WSIOMS.

“When I joined the world of public speaking, my initial goal was to improve my public speaking skills and find new platforms where I could set to work in differentiating my digital marketing company from other web developers in the industry,” says Francois.

“One of the things that fascinated me the most about PSASA is seeing how fellow speakers help one another develop new skills and grow their speaking businesses. Since I joined, I’ve spoken and trained internationally in over 10 countries. It’s ben such an exciting and rewarding journey,” continues Francois.

Fellow speakers and members of PSASA recently voted Francois as the National President of the Association. Achieving this title is not only seen as a major accomplishment among our peers, but the designation also means that Francois will be tasked with helping other speakers achieve a high level of competence and professionalism in their work and elevate the speaking industry as a whole.

“Being announced as the National President is a tremendous honour for which I am very grateful. I’m looking forward to 2017 and I’ve already set the wheel in motion to help the association reach its goals of increasing our membership, opening new chapters and helping fellow speakers,” says Francois.

Francois concluded by inviting interested parties to attend any of the PSASA’s chapters and reach out to find out more about joining the association.

“Anyone interested in joining PSASA should attend one of our monthly chapter meetings. PSASA members are so versatile and diverse – they truly represent all aspects of the speaking business. There are many different ways that we can support you in your public speaking endeavours,” concludes Francois.
