Retailers and suppliers to gather at second annual Retail Indaba in Cape Town

The Retail Indaba Conference returns to Cape Town on 21st and 22nd August and is being held at the CTICC. The conference is bringing retailers, suppliers and industry role players together for high-level learning, discussion and networking. Over the two days a host of leading speakers and professionals in the retail field will inspire and inform delegates on economic outlook, retail growth, customer service, retail management and online shopping. The programme is packed and will benefit retailers, suppliers, shop owners, shop managers, supply chain managers, retail and product marketers.

Day one include discussions on the rise of Africa, consumer trends 2013, multichannel retail strategies, the shoppers journey, consumer relations and advertising, the use of loyalty programmes and retail apps. Topics on day two include the future of shopping, secrets of retail branding, the economic outlook for retail, in-store promotions, brand protection, a report back on international retail trends, e-tailing and payments.

Confirmed speakers include: Daniel Silke (keynote speaker), Gareth Pearson (BMi Research), Graham Leigh (HKLM), Robert Grace (M&CSaatchi), Theresa Wright (Adams & Adams), Nicky Weimar (Nedbank), Bevan Ducasse (WiGroup), Robin Phillip (Paygate) and 10 other industry experts. There is 20 speakers in total.

Tickets cost R2,950 for both days and includes conference access, conference bag, DVD, refreshments, lunch and parking. Single-day tickets are also available at R1,750 per day.
